Scope and Contents note

Material contains the transcription of a tape recording made by Calvin Bartholomew about his Latter-day Saint mission to Germany and experience as an intelligence officer during World War II. Also contains a memoir about Bartholomew's experience preparing for the secret landing in North Africa and the day to day accounts of the events and another memoir detailing his experience working as an interrogator of German prisoners. Contains several letters to and from Bartholomew and some photocopied photographs. Dated 1942-1946.
