Material contains the personal history of Eldin Simpson regarding his service in the U.S. Army during World War II. Describes landing on Normandy Beach and fighting throughout France and Germany, getting sick, recovering, and being transferred to the military police near Paris, where he remained until the end of the war. Also describes bringing supplies to Berlin after the war. Compiled by his wife Josephine. Dated 1998-1999.
