Scope and Contents note

Photograph of two men, James Stevenson at oars, in a rowboat named "Annie" and rigged with a square sail. It was built to take soundings on Yellowstone Lake. This information was taken from Hayden and His Men, Plate 32. Very faded, with white spots and torn albumen, lower left corner missing.
