Scope and Contents
Materials contain papers relating to Heinrich J. Cuvelier's service in the German Army during World War II from 1937-1945. Contains a memoir that discusses his experiences in the army after being drafted until the end of the war. Mentions his various assignments, which included being the personal driver of Lieutenant General Sigismund von Foerster. Includes photocopies of: photographs of Cuvelier during and after the war, published information about the 97th Jager Division, a German military document, information about a conference of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Germany and temple trip, and German church members in California.
