Materials contain a memoir written by Gayland R. Mills concerning his service in the U.S. Army during World War II from 1943-1945. Discusses Mills' radar and anti-aircraft training, preparations for the D-Day invasion in England, and his landing on Omaha Beach. Describes his participation in the Battle of St Lo. and Battle of the Bulge and the invasion of Germany. Includes photocopied photographs and certificates. Dated 1943-1945, September 2001.
