Garrett collected traditional Mexican folk cures and remedies for ailments. Included are cures for fevers, hiccups, and low blood pressure (which can be healed by eating hummingbird hearts regularly). The paper was written for Dr. Eliason's English 391 class taught at Brigham Young University in 1997.
