Scope and Contents note

Materials contain papers relating to Russel Ammon Taylor's military service in the U.S. Army during World War II from 1942-1945. Papers include photocopied newspaper clipping and statement about the Malmedy Massacre, 1944. Also contains photocopied map and letter concerning Taylor's staging camp in Belgium, where he stayed before returning to the United States. Lastly, includes a letter from Taylor to Robert Freeman giving the brief history of his friend Tom Harris who served in the British navy during World War II. Dated 1985-2001.
