Dirk Roothoff papers, 1943
Scope and Contents
Materials contain personal papers of Dirk Roothoff relating to his service in the U.S. Army during World War II. The file contains his Report for Induction, a letter from the Governor welcoming him home, a draft notice, and a speration guild. There are also two maps and two photographs of Roothoff in uniform. A newspaper article discusses Roothoff registering for the selective service after World War II entitled "Utah 25-Year-Olds Register for Draft As Stations Report Large Turnout". Dated 1943.
