Materials contain a letter written by Wayne Penrose Kent to his grandson, in which he describes various events that occurred that kept him out of combat as a paratrooper in the U.S. Army during World War II. Brief discussion of his airborne training and his service in Lansburg Prison in Germany after the war. Includes photocopied photograph of Kent as well as a brief letter written by Kent's wife. Dated 1945, 2001.
