Scope and Contents

Contains publicity materials for the 1956 film The Ten Commandments. Includes seven lobby cards (2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8), 5 photolobby cards, three heralds, a half-sheet poster, an insert poster, a mini lobby card set, a Mexican lobby card set, three one-sheet posters, a three-sheet poster, two pressbooks, a program, a souvenir booklet, a window card, an Australian program, a Gerrman souvenir booklet, and a Spanish souvenir booklet.. Also includes materials from the following rereleases: 1960 rerelease one-sheet poster, lobby card #5; 1966 rerelease one-sheet poster, six-sheet poster, lobby card set, five mini lobby cards, three pressbook (variants 1 & 2), and a window card; 1968 rerelease Italian poster, 1972 one-sheet poster, a Danish poster and mini lobby card #1, 7 1970s rerelease German lobby cards. Also includes a French poster, two German posters, a German bus poster, a German handmade poster, and two Japanese posters.
