Scope and Contents

Sandra Tayler collected personal narratives about songs sung by her family, the Owens'. Included are songs such as Skeeters Am A Hummin' The Cat Came Back, The Calf and Sparrow Song, and I Come a Zimba Zimba Zi-ah. Project was written for an English 392 class taught at Brigham Young University during Winter semester 1995.
