Two letters (photo copies): One from G.S.R. at Kirtland, Ohio, to cousin Edwin D. Pierson(?), July 20, 1837, relates farming outlook at Kirtland and tells of some Saints having departed Missouri. One from G.S.R. at Kirtland, Ohio, to his parents, Phineas and Wealthy Richards in Berkshire County, Mass., March 1, 1832, relates considerable detail about reports ha has heard on the favorable conditions of Jackson County, Missouri, including Oliver Cowdery's report.
