General
Note taped on verso: "Photo # 11401 Date: ca. 1911-26 Location: Navajo Indian Reservation Related Photos: 81665 Description: Unidentified Navajo woman with her baby in a traditional cradle-board, made of cedar or oak. Babies were often kept safely strapped in these and propped upright while the mother sat at her rug weaving loom or went about other chores. Judging from the stone building, this photo was probably taken at a trading post, school or other Indian Service building. Same woman and baby appear in Photo # 81665. Photographer's notation: None Russell Hartman comments: None."
