Scope and Contents
A letter written by Mrs. J. Etherington (Mary) in Salt Lake City, UT to her sister Sarah Oakey Sirrine in Dingle, Idaho. Mary explains that she is selling the stock in her millinery store, offering Sarah a chance to start a business, $500 worth of goods for $200 in cash (before she sells them at auction). Mary says she is "going to take a rest and enjoy life a little with what (she has) made." Dated December 6, 1881.
