Scope and Contents
Materials include pictures, correspondence, and documents relating to Joseph Grant Snow’s life, his membership in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and his work and death while serving in the U.S. Navy during World War II. The majority of the materials are prints from an optical disk. The materials relating to his life include a personal history, documents from high school, and various scanned photographs from his childhood and time at Dixie State College. There are also documents relating to his involvement in the Church, including his patriarchal blessing, scouting records, and other priesthood ordinance documents. The file also includes correspondence and photographs from Snow to his family during his military career, and papers documenting the investigation of his death during a submarine training exercise. Dates range approximately 1930-2010.
