A transcription of a journal entry written by Sarah Oakey Sirrine. It is Sarah's account of the train trip to Mesa via California with her mother and older brother Alfred (Fred). (They stayed there 10 months but returned to Idaho because of the heat). Dated November 16-26, 1885.
