David Garrick engraved on lid. Engraved on bottom: "Presented to Francis X. Bushman Dec. 25th 1918, by Annie Rothery Meyer of Beacon New York, whose father the late Wm Rothery, in 1869, received it from Alderman Wm Hutchison, Broomhall Park, Sheffield, England, to whom it was presented by the great actor himself."
