Scope and Contents

Contains 118 black and white photographs of various sizes taken between approximately 1906 and 1939. Images include expedition and camping photographs of Southern Utah (including Rainbow Bridge), the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, Tonto Rim, Tuba City, and Tsegi Canyon in Arizona. Also includes portraits of Lina Elise (Dolly) Grey, photographs of Zane Grey, movie scenes from "Wild Horse Mesa," ships and Zane Grey's yacht. Some photographs are reproductions.

The Zane Grey's West Society was founded in 1983 by Joe Wheeler and is located in Pleasanton, California. The society's purpose is to promote the works and life of Zane Grey by furthering the knowledge and research on Grey and his works. As of 2022, the society was active.
