Scope and Contents
Letter from Lalande in Paris to Mme. Dupiery in Marceil on April 28. The letter is signed by Lalande with the subtitle: College of France. It begins with intimate details and warm affections. Then Lalande informs Mme. Dupiery that he will return to the office, but he has sent the wools with M. Sequi. On Wednesday he will depart to Orleans. He also includes information about an Isaac, who was innoculated on Tuesday at midnight with a disease. Lalande writes that he will be returning to the academy to receive an award for grand merit.
