[C.?] Johnson letter to George M. Dallas, 1848 February
Scope and Contents
Letter from [C.?] Johnson, P.O. Department, to George M. Dallas, he's directed the establishment of a "special office," dated February 11, 1848. Also a letter from Dallas to Thomas L. Kane from Philadelphia, written on the back of previous letter, Kane is "the first whose wishes have not been defeated by my intervention," dated February 12, 1848.
