Scope and Contents
Materials include an original letter from John K. Kane and Jane Duval Leiper Kane to Thomas L. Kane. The letter says that Tom's parents have received word that he is convalescing and is on his way home to Pennsylvania. The letter also says that John has been in session almost every other day since Tom's departure for the West. Dated September 6, 1846.
