Scope and Contents

Letter from John K. Kane to Jane Duval Leiper Kane rejoicing at the news that their daughter Eliza (Elizabeth Kane Shields) has recovered. He also tells Jane that he has been called as a witness in Newcastle, which will allow him to briefly visit home. Dated November 25, 1833.
