Materials include a letter from John K. Kane, Jane Duval Leiper Kane, and Elisha Kent Kane to Thomas L. Kane giving advice about what to do in England if the voyage is long and difficult. It also says that Jane is suffering from the strain of running the household. Dated May 25, 1840.
