John K. Kane letter to Elisha Kent Kane, 1844 June 14
Scope and Contents
Materials include an original letter from John K. Kane to Elisha Kent Kane saying that John wrote a newspaper article on the life of James P. Polk and and George M. Dallas; he also wrote an eight-page tract about Texas and the annexation. Jane has a severe toothache, but she is otherwise fine. Dated June 14, 1844.
