Scope and Contents
Letter from John K. Kane to Jane Duval Leiper Kane saying that Uncle Elias Kane's family is composed after the death of Elias Kent Kane, although some of them are depressed. The funeral is scheduled for tomorrow at noon. He adds that Martin Van Buren grieves as if he had lost a brother. Dated December 13, 1835.
