Scope and Contents
Letter from John K. Kane to Jane Duval Leiper Kane talking about the death of his father, Elisha Kane. He says that it is the most difficult trials he has experienced, but he is grateful that his father didn't have to suffer too many pains of old age. He thanks her for her kindness toward his father and says that he will return home next week. Dated December 9, 1834.
