Materials include a signed original letter from John K. Kane, Jane Duval Leiper Kane, and their son John Kent Kane to Thomas L. Kane saying that they took a trip to Washington D.C. where people there are troubled with the state of affairs in Pennsylvania. Dated February 8, 1840.
