Scope and Contents

Materials include an original letter from Robert Patterson Kane to Thomas L. Kane. Robert says he sent twenty-four bulletins and he tells Tom about changes to the United States Coast Survey. He says that Alexander Dallas Bache's will be in charge of ten brigades instead of one. Dated December 24, 1843.
