Scope and Contents

Letter from John K. Kane to Jane Duval Leiper Kane saying he will take a short trip home for his birthday. He describes the dinner and conversation he had at President Andrew Jackson's home and says that Chancellor James Kent visited Elias Kane's home while he was there. No year on item. Dated May 14, approximately 1835.
