Scope and Contents

Materials include an original letter from John K. Kane to Lt. Henry Morris replying to a previous letter. The reply mentions the annexation of the bill of landing for a second small box and it says that the navy has ordered Captain Isaac McKewer to join the East India Squadron. It is written on the back of one of the pages from Morris's original letter. Dated April 14, 1844.
