Scope and Contents

Letter from John K. Kane to Jane Duval Leiper Kane saying that the funeral for his cousin Elias Kent Kane is over and Elias was esteemed by all the senators. John felt that he and Elias were close enough to be brothers. Dated December 14, 1835.
