Contains letters written by Marva Genevieve Stevens Allen and LeGrande Allen to each other. Most of the letters were written during their courtship when Marva lived in Logan, Utah and LeGrande lived in Gunnison, Utah. Other letters were written while LeGrande was stationed in California with the military in 1954. Dated 1952-1954.

LeGrande Allen (b. 1929) is a retired military personnel in Utah.
LeGrande Allen was born on August 14, 1929. He married Marva Genevieve Stevens on March 20, 1953 in the Logan LDS Temple. LeGrande served in the military in California during 1954 as a private first class. He currently lives in Bountiful, Utah.

Marva Genevieve Stevens Allen (1929-2011) was a Mormon wife and mother in Utah.
Marva Genevieve Stevens was born on August 9, 1929 in New Brunswick, New Jersey to Kenneth R. and Iona B. Stevens. She graduated from Utah State in 1951. Marva married LeGrande Allen on March 20, 1953 in Logan, Utah and they had eight children together. She lived a life of service and love in Bountiful, Utah. On November 27, 2011 Marva passed away in Bountiful, Utah.
