Biographical History
Dean Schauerhamer was born and raised in Orem, Utah. After graduating from high school in 1964, he worked in construction until his draft number came up. He trained for a short time and then took a two year leave to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the North British Mission. When he got home, he married and lived in California for a time. He continued to work in construction and as a firefighter and served in the National Guard until his time there was up.
