There are two separate documents. The first document is a list of people including James Oakey. It could represent the group emigrating with him from Nottingham with the number in their party and payment status. The second document reads: James son of James and Catherine Oaky born 21st June 1817 Christened June 2nd 1818 Registered June 3rd 1818 by John Smith Minister. Copyed from the Register belonging to the Independent Chaple Melbourne. John Green. Undated.
