Scope and Contents

Warranty Deed from Orville Goodhue, Receiver, Amboy, Lansing and Traverse Bay Railroad Company, to Amos Gould of Shiawassee County, transferring land in Tuscola County, Recorded Feb. 23, 1869. Attached is a letter to Mr. Gould from O. M. Barnes, Commissioner, Land Department of the Jackson, Lansing and Saginaw Railroad Company, Lansing, Michigan, Sept. 24, 1873, disputing the validity of the deed.
