Letter from Lalande to Mme. Dupiery written from Bourg-en-Bresse on October 15, 1779. Lalande's letter describes his progress in astronomy. According to the letter, his progress was interrupted on the eve of discovering Orion and Syrius due to occupation. He temporarily has to couch his research.
