Folder of miscellaneous documents related to John Crook and his son John William Crook. Most items are related to John William Crook. Includes patriarchal blessings for John Crook, his wife Mary, given in 1861, and John William Crook and his wife Sarah, given in 1893. Also includes a loose diary by an unnamed person, possibly John William Crook, from 1878 to 1879. Also includes newspaper clippings, receipts and other financial records, letters, family history records, and other documents related John William Crook, dated circa 1890-1941.

Biographical / Historical
John William Crook (1858-1950) was born in Provo, Utah in April 1858 but raised in Heber, Utah. He married Sarah Boyd and lived in Heber, Utah, working on farming and irrigation until his death in 1950. John Crook was the first historian of the Heber, Utah area.
