Biographical / Historical
Eleanor S. Edman (1906-1990) was a teacher and wife and mother.
Eleanor S. Edman was born Eleanor Sophia Stark on August 29, 1906 in Leland, Utah to Moroni Stark and Sarah Hanson Stark. She graduated from Brigham Young University and taught elementary school in Utah and Arizona. On December 30, 1936, she married Frank M. Edman in the Salt Lake Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They had four children: John Nick Edman, Richard S. Edman, Gary F. Edman, and Sharyn Ann Strong. Eleanor S. Edman died on August 17, 1990 in Salem, Utah.
