General

Written at time when her father Tom was visiting Sarah in Idaho. He was bringing “deeds” to sign, having visited Bessie and her children along the way. Tom was 81, would die the next year. Bessie is James Oakey’s wife in Ogden. I think the deed is to James’ property in Paris. She expects the family to go to California for Christmas—the passes have arrived and are good until the end of Feb. (At this time her sister Vinnie was living in Los Angeles. Her Aunt Mary Oakey was still in the Bay Area.)
