Biographical History

Raffi Mercuri is an alumnus from George Mason University and Brigham Young University who acted as an interviewer for the Charles Redd Center’s “Historic Downtown Provo Oral History Project.”

Raffi Mercuri is the son of Phil and Diane Mercuri. He grew up in Dearborn, Missouri. He attended George Mason University between 2009-2011 before transferring to Brigham Young University, where he majored in History and minored in Psychology. While at Brigham Young University, he worked a number of jobs, including an employee for Supersonic Car Wash and as a cook for Broiler Express. By the end of 2012 he worked as a Teacher's Assistant for Professor Stewart Anderson in his History 202 course. Eventually, Mercuri was hired at the Charles Redd Center for Western Studies, where he administered oral history interviews for the Historic Downtown Provo Oral History Project. He graduated from BYU.
