Note taped on verso: "Photo # 11521 Date: ca. 1924-1926 Location: Tuba City, AZ Related Photo: None Description: Kerley's Trading Post, outside Tuba City, AZ on Navajo Indian Reservation. This post was established sometime prior to 1920 by John P. Kerley along US Highway 160. Kerley also was a partner in Cedar Ridge Trading Post with Babbitt Brothers. At the time Kerley established this trading post, Tuba City was approximately 1 mile distant, but the town has since grown to include the trading post site. Photographer's Notations: None Russell Hartman comments: None."
