Enclosed in same envelope (included), labeled “Ann McGrath’s (late Parke,) marriage certificate, and letters from her husband, rec. October 30, 1831. J.K.K”: Letter from William McGrath, Carlisle, Pennsylvania, to Robert McGrath, and Ann “Nancy” McGrath, William’s wife, Philadelphia, explains why he left Ann in Philadelphia, dated June 20, 1831; Letter from William McGrath, Carlisle, to Ann McGrath, Philadelphia, addressed to Robert McGrath, speaks of them going West or back to Ireland, dated July 7, 1831.
