Biographical History
Alan Ray Story was born on October 6, 1946 and raised in Cat Creek, Montana. He graduated from Melstone High School in 1964. He attended Eastern Montana College in Billings, Montana to study physical science before being drafted into the Vietnam War. He worked as a field radio repairman and spent about a year in Vietnam. After he returned home, he took up a job in welding. He suffered from PTSD and schizophrenia due to his time at war.
