General

Three to his wife , Wealthy at West Stockbridge, Mass., 1839 and 1850, dated at Hollisten, Missouri and at San Pete County, Utah, which relate considerable detail on the Mormon persecutions in Missouri and later farming and colonizing activities in San Pete Valley in Utah. One letter from Phineas Richards at Richmond, Missouri (?) from his son, Samuel W. serving on a mission in Vermont, July 30, 1843, giving him a brief news about activities and mutual friends. One letter from Brigham Young and Joseph Young, Sr., at Kirtland, Ohio, to Phineas Richards at Richmond, Mass., suggesting that the latter come join them at Kirtland in the painting business, Oct. 27, 1836. One incomplete letter from John P. Green at Quincy, Illinois, to Phineas Richards, April 1, 1839, concerning the gospel and the need to endure. Richards, Willard - Two letters (phot copies) to Phineas Richards in San Pete, County, Utah, from Willard Richards at Great Salt Lake City, April 4 and May 18, 1850, concerning farming supplies and needs.
