Biographical History
Evan Baugh was born on February 15, 1920, in Hyrum, UT. In school, he was a good student and a member of the tennis and basketball teams. He married Clara Walters Bair in 1941, and the two would later go on to raise five kids. On the day he received his undergraduate degree, he also received a commission to join the military. He served in the US Army during WWII for 46 months, receiving assignments in Washington state, Washington DC, and the Philippines. After returning from the war, he taught high school math and later became principal of Lincoln Junior High and Lakeridge Junior High. He retired in 1980 and was active in his community, as well as with his church and family. He passed away on December 6, 2017.
