Family heirloom jacquard wool coverlet woven, the Pilgrim Maiden in blue, tan and raspberry color spun and woven by Ruth Hedges Foster, Helen's great-great grandmother born in 1767 in Easthampton, Long Island, died 1860, age 93, in Genessee County, upstate New York, at Warsaw. Given to Helen Foster Snow in 1947 in Nantucket.
