David Candland pamphlets, 1846
Scope and Contents
Folder contains photocopies of no. 1, no. 2, and no. 3 of the pamphlet "The Fireside Visitor; or Plain Reasoner," written by David Candland. These pamphlets were created by Candland in 1846 while he was serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in England. Each pamphlet is titled, respectively: no. 1 "On the necessity of baptism as a means of salvation;" no. 2 "On the departure from the true order of the kingdom foretold;" and, no. 3 "The restoration of the kingdom." Candland signed each as "David C. Kimball."
