Biographical History
Elva J. Jensen was born and raised in Centerville and Gunnison, Utah. She attended school at Snow College in Ephraim, Utah. She married Mardell Jensen before he was drafted into the U.S. Marines to serve in the Korean War. While he was in Korea, she worked as a secretary at Gunnison Sugar Valley Sales. She kept track of the books and sold parts. When he returned, they adopted one child and had three more. They had a long, happy marriage. She passed away on May 27, 2021.
