Brief letter in pencil was probably written after Sarah’s hip fracture and only a few months before her death. She and Jean lived together at her sister Emeline’s in Salt Lake for the last few years as she convalesced and he want to college and law school. He would have been 27. The folder also contains a poem that she transcribed, possibly included with the letter.
