Biographical History

Joseph P. Farrell was born on October 17, 1926 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He dropped out of high school and joined the navy when he turned seventeen. He served in the Pacific, mainly in Hawaii, Japan, and the Philippines. When he was discharged, he got his high school diploma and went on to study electrical training and pursue a career in television. He married three separate times and has four children, one of which passed away due to cancer.
